Shiny Cleaning Agency was founded in 2021 by Martha Velasco — a first-generation entrepreneur with a degree in International Finance and Business from Universidad Santiago de Cali, and a background spanning real estate, sales, and property management. She saw a gap: a cleaning agency that treats every space, every client, and every team member the way a family would.
What started as a small residential business quickly grew. Word spread that Martha's team didn't cut corners, showed up on time, and delivered consistently on every job. Today, Shiny serves over 2,000 residential and commercial clients across New Jersey and New York — from homeowners in Hoboken and across NJ to restaurants, schools, and offices.
We're still family-run. We're still woman-owned and minority-owned. And we still believe that if it's not Shiny, it's not clean.

Martha earned her Bachelor's degree in International Finance and Business from Universidad Santiago de Cali. Before founding Shiny, she built her career across real estate (Keller Williams), solar energy sales (PosiGen), and property management — roles that taught her one thing above all: businesses run on relationships.
Based in Hoboken, NJ, Martha founded Shiny in 2021 with a clear mission: build a cleaning agency that clients actually recommend to their friends. Her skills in business, sales, and building relationships give her a huge advantage in the market, providing her clients and partners reliability and trust.
As CEO, Martha leads the company's vision, standards, and team development. She built Shiny with a clear framework: trained, insured, background-checked crews; transparent processes; and a customer-first culture.
